Barnes & Noble is moving into the storefront at 1617 Eglin St. at Rushmore Crossing, according to Janine Flanigan, Barnes & Noble vice president of store planning and design.

The bookseller confirmed the date of the grand opening with a post on its Rapid City store's . Photos are posted there of progress on the store as it prepares to open.

According to Flanigan, Rapid City’s Barnes & Noble location will be about 22,000 square feet and will be built in the new design seen in other recently-opened stores.

The Rapid City location will carry all the books, toys, games, gifts and vinyl, and it will house a B&N Café. It will be the second Barnes & Noble location in South ����app.
